Tell Me Something Good #17
A Day of Pampering for First Responders
Salon Eunoia both had a need and saw a charitable opportunity. In response, they devised a way to raise enough funds to keep their employees on the payroll and pamper healthcare workers. Salon owner Victoria Michael wants “a chance for them [healthcare workers] to just relax and sit in a chair and feel beautiful and appreciated.”
Michael is asking the public to purchase gift certificates in increments of $100 on the Salon Eunoia website and then nominate a healthcare worker for a day of pampering. Each time a certificate is purchased, Michael will contribute $50 toward a pampering fund. Each time the fund reaches $300 (after 6 certificates are purchased) Salon Eunoia is giving a certificate for $300 of services to one of the nominees.
The gift certificates can’t be used until the salon reopens after the pandemic. However, the second goal of this promotion will be met immediately. The revenue generated from the purchased gift certificates enables Michael to continue employing her staff while the salon is closed.
Thank you, Salon Eunoia, for pampering our community’s healthcare workers and protecting the jobs of your employees!
